What Would Happen if Job Boards Became Obsolete: The Discussion

Posted by Jason

By Jason Buss.

I came across a tweet tonight from ZenRecruiter regarding a discussion on ERE - whether or not Resume databases have a normal distribution of talent.

The discussion came from a question posed by Madeline Tarquinio as a follow-up to my post: “What Would Happen if Job Boards Became Obsolete“?

There is some great dialogue occuring on ERE under “Discussions” - 22 replies - stop by and share your thoughts!

    Jason,
Thanks for posting this! I’ve since changed my Twitter profile from ZenRecruiter to http://twitter.com/BooleanBlackBlt. Also, I followed up that discussion on ERE with a post on on my blog here: http://www.booleanblackbelt.com/2008/10/job-boards-poor-candidate-quality-dont-believe-the-hype/

This is still a topic I am very passionate about. I appreciate discussions concerning the perceived quality of job board candidates.
