Social networking sites are banned by nearly a quarter of all companies, many of which see them as a drain on productivity and a haven for idleness, according to a new survey. The survey also said that 8 percent of firms encourage the sites, which can help employees network, market their products and reach colleagues.

iCIMS, a leading Software-as-a-Service (SaaS) provider of talent management platforms announced that it has eclipsed the 600 client mark, adding such industry leaders as Enterprise Rent-a-Car, Jamba Juice, Room and Board, Genworth Financial, Crunch Fitness, and the nation’s largest job board to its client base. The talent management software provider now supports 600 customers across virtually every industry, geographic location, and company size.
